I'm Jaryd, the founder and sole creative behind Digital Blacksmith. For over 20 years, I’ve lived and breathed music, writing songs, performing live across South Africa, and now producing music and video content for other artists and creators. What started as a dream on stage has become a full-circle creative studio. I’m a multi-instrumentalist, looping artist, songwriter, and producer, and I bring all of that experience into every project I touch. Whether I’m helping a singer-songwriter shape their first demo, mixing and mastering a full album, filming a music video, or producing a full-length podcast, I do it all in-house, hands-on, and heart-first. Being a solo operation means I’m fully invested in every detail. You won’t be handed off to someone else. From the first voice note or lyric idea to the final mix, master, or export, it’s me on the other end, crafting every note, edit, and cut.
